Bowlmor Lanes

In 1997 Tom Shannon acquired a run down, money losing bowling alley in Manhattan, Bowlmor Lanes, and transformed it into one of the city’s hottest and most compelling nightlife venues. Following the acquisition of Bowlmor and the addition of Pressure, a high-end event space contiguous to Bowlmor which opened in 2001, the company constructed new, upscale “Strike” bowling properties in Bethesda, MD (2001), New Hyde Park, NY (2002), Miami, FL (2004), Cupertino CA (2007) and Orange County, CA (2008).
